Global Fuel Blending Committee

The Methanol Institute’s (MI) Global Fuel Blending Commitee (GFBC) encourages the growth of methanol fuel blending by coordinating global strategy and serving as a central database for information, which will help avoid duplication of effort and better manage resources of the association and its individual members.  The GFBC was originally a subcommittee under MI’s Market Development Committee (MDC) and became a full committee in June of 2013 in recognition of the fact that the largest growth area for the methanol industry is in methanol-gasoline blending.
